The YS Falls and Black River Safari are located in a secluded rural location approximately 2 hours away from Negril and 2 hours 15 minutes from Montego Bay. YS falls receives relatively few visitors, allowing you to relax and enjoy the surroundings, away from the crowds. The YS Estate is located deep in the sugar growing region of St.Elizabeth Parish. Once you arrive at the estate a tractor-pulled jitney will take you to the waterfalls. While the Black River Safari takes you deep into one of Jamaica’s longest navagating river. There you will meet different pieces from: crocodiles, herons and egrets.
Experience this waterfall began with a tram ride that consisted of Disneyland-like tram trailers with seats except they were being pulled by tractors. After a few minutes on this tram ride, you will then be dropped off at the starting area Gift shop. The gift shop, waiting area for the return tram, changing rooms, and an a beautiful designed swimming pool. There were also other footpaths that went away from the waterfall towards other parts of the complex for other activities.
